1. BEinGRID Workshops 

• A BEinGRID Application Workshop was organised by Activity 1 (cross technical)

  "Common Capabilities for Service Oriented Infrastructures and Cloud Computing"
  
  This was a full session workshop that brought together delegates from leading commercial, public and research organizations around the world to share experiences of commercial applications of Service Oriented Infrastructures based on the fusion of Web Services and Grid Computing paradigms as a foundation for Service Oriented IT in the 21st century. Presented by the BEinGRID project.

• A BEinGRID Application Workshop was organised by Activity 2 (cross business)
  
  Tuesday November 24, 2009 - 9h30-13h30
  
  "Business Opportunities and Challenges for Grid and Cloud Computing"
  
  This workshop provided a consultancy oriented view of business opportunities and challenges for Grid and Cloud Computing.  It focused on the latest market trends and the challenges that market players face when developing new solutions to emerging business opportunities. Special attention was paid to the business models, product strategies, service commercialization, and legal safeguards.  Presented by the BEinGRID project.
