Through June 3-5, 2008, the BEinGRID Industry Days took place in Barcelona, Spain, in a shared venue with the 23^rd Open Grid Forum (OGF23).

The event highlighted the best of BEinGRID: including demos of the current 18 Business Experiments, as well as key guest speakers from the software and services industry.

A joint plenary session between BEinGRID and OGF started the event, paving way for a 3-day look into how GRID computing can be utilized in a practical, profitable and competitive manner.  To represent this vision, several demos from the 18 Business Experiments were on display, showcasing the event.
 

The “Welcome Cocktail” and round-table discussions presented great opportunities to meet, exchange knowledge and network among fellow colleagues in the industry.

The BEinGRID Industrial Event mainly served as a platform for the first wave of 18 Business Experiments to present their results to an audience consisting of fellow partners and those within the industry.
