BEinGRID's Second Wave of Business Experiments Kick-off

The Consortium allocated the EC funding amount of 2M Euros for the competitive call that was officially launched on the October 25, 2007 and closed on November 29, 2007.
With a first wave of 18 Business Experiments which ended in June 2008, BEinGRID needed to incorporate new contractors and/or extend the participation of current ones in the consortium in order to conduct the second wave of Business Experiments.
This second set of Grid pilots was launched on March 17-18, 2008 in Barcelona. The new Business Experiments focus on validating and evaluating the usefulness and reusability of the common functions identified in the first half of the project and offered through Gridipedia repository.
